It has been my multi month experience that Optimal use most often involves microwave preliminary cook followed by transfer to Air-drier for following reasons: (1) using air frier alone requires prolonged times ( I.e. approx three times the number of minutes that may be required as opposed to preliminary brief microwaving; (2) the end result with suggested dual cooking is that food tastes just as good As air fry alone; but most importantly that foods that should be crispy for greatest enjoyment are successfully delightfully crispy with dual cooking, unlike microwaving alone wherein food items are usually woefully soggy
