I've run this brand new thing on empty 5 times now trying to get rid of the burnt plastic / chemical smell

And it took several cleanings and meals to really get the odd vaguely plastic smell on the food to go away

Lastly, there is a strong plastic smell as some others have stated

First time using the air fryer today to make French fries and within in a minute the fryer produced a horrible burning plastic smell!!

Foods get some weird smell like burnt plastic

Great product easy to use for the most part it's easy to clean as with any type of fryer you're always going to have some form of splatter

n’t be unhappy with your Meal experiment like I did with French fries , then you will know how I put mine on the middle rack with the top one above and drip pan below

Cleaned every thing very well but the bad smell and taste won`t go away
