Be aware this smells like burning plastic when turned on (odor lasts till next day)

I bought the air fryer and it had a strong smell of plastic when using

I've run this brand new thing on empty 5 times now trying to get rid of the burnt plastic / chemical smell

No weird smells and it is as loud as an old dishwasher

Lastly, there is a strong plastic smell as some others have stated

My husband hates the smell so bad he says the food tastes like that burnt smell

First time using the air fryer today to make French fries and within in a minute the fryer produced a horrible burning plastic smell!!

The smell got very intense as we continued cooking the fries!

I have read others complain abou plastic smell

To top it all off it puts off a nauseating chemical smell that filled the house

I do have to say that when I used it the first time I didn’t like the smell and weird taste it left on my chicken nuggets but that was my fault because I didn’t read the owners manual where it specifically tells you to wash the inside before first use so definitely clean and wash well before using
