They really bring out the picture on my 32" Samsung LED TV compared to the composite cables (Yellow, White, Red).Had to mess with the settings in my PS2 to get the best picture but there are instructions on Google for doing that.
I switched out the red cables like people were saying to do, but still no picture at all
My son said this makes the picture much more vibrant and clear.
I purchased this for my PS2 in efforts to clear up the picture on my 32" HDTV
It did just that, the picture looks great (for a PS2 game)
The company that I ordered from, contacted me by email and said they would refund my purchase and apologized for the inconvenience which I feel is very commendable

I know because I plugged this cable in, saw the poor image quality and immediately ordered the Sony cable
It works great and has much better picture quality than the composite cables and if you have an hd televison over 32 inches and/or sit very close to your television, it is especially noticable
These get the job done, but the quality is definitely lacking
And nice clear crisp sound and of course no upscaled picture, but this does not upscale either.
I do not suggest buying this cable if you like a nice non clear sound.
I bought them and when I went to use them with my ps3 and HD tv, I had the refresh rate/scanning lines going vertically up my screen as well as a humming sound from my speakers
