Looking for carrying case that I didn't have to warm a gel pack in microwave.

I also purchased the Pyrex Portable Hot & Cold pack combo - so that the food stays warmer for longer -totally perfect.

I put one pre-heated hot pack (Amazon) on the cardboard and lined each layer with a dish towel

I also bought a reusable hot/cold pack to go inside

My Mac and cheese stayed warm for hours with the use of a hot pack and this carrier.

I used a microwave heating/cooling pack under the food following the heating instructions.

Used this twice in one week and it worked well at keeping things warm with added hot packs

Down side the top layer is not quite deep enough for the dish and hot pack, it's a struggle to zip.
