n’t had any issue with punctures, but I know with amazons return policy, it wouldn’t have been an issue
If you're looking for something fast or ergonomic enough to stay in all day, perhaps move on, but if you just want an hour or two to leisurely paddle around a lake or calm bay, this is a great option
n’t sink
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable option and an absolute space saver
This used to be the most economical option by far for a
I wouldn't recommend this kayak for anything extreme like the rapids at Whirlpool Rapids Gorge—Niagara River, New York, but your average day on the lake, river or bay for the casual kayaker, this kayak is an extraordinary value
Apart from that issue this is a both a great value and a great first kayak to have if you want to try out the sport.
The value is leaking and I can not find a way to replace it
At a hundred dollars, this is a good value but when the prices are higher, consider waiting for a price drop.
Great value for the price, especially when compared to hard plastic kayaks.
This thing is heavy as hell to lug around for a "casual impromptu day on the water"
This kayak was okay for the price I paid, but the seats could have been a lot more rigid and sturdy, the only thing good about the seats was that they were/are easy to install/remove with the plastic snap clips that hold them in place
The really nice thing is that in its deflated condition, you can throw it into the car and be off to the lake, rather than spending time getting your regular kayak up onto the car and securing it into place.
It is the coolest thing I could buy for myself for my 67th birthday!
Best thing is you don't have to rack it on top of your car
I found that I liked to place my legs on top of the boat to get some air, and paddling was just as easy this way
that is, unlike a solid kayak, it may not provide a place to rest your foot so that it is pressing against something, which is part of good paddling technique
You may want to consider a better quality paddle once you have used it a few times.
The paddles that are included aren’t excellent but work fine
It still has the normal Intex drawbacks: it fishtails a bit, the included seats are not great, and the paddle is cheap, but the boat itself is durable, stable, and easy to manuver in calm water.
n’t think I would highly recommend this kayak for an adult because all of the above, but I would recommend the larger version of this kayak, called the Explorer.
n’t get it as compact again and it won’t fit in the bag they’ve provided

I say you have to honor me as a customer that just bought this item
Bottom line: zero quality control and terrible customer service.

A bit of a workout (not unexpected) to inflate and assemble, but also very light and easy to maneuver
It takes a bit of time to blow everything up (kayak, two parts of seat, wedge pillow) manually, but that didn't bother us

A bit hard to maneuve, use it on a 5 acre spring fed lake.

Also, I find it much easier to get in and out of this than the hard plastic ones

We’ve used them on the lake, as well as for a lazy float down the river.
It's not the hard plastic kayak we use to have, but we filled it up halfway, so it fits in the back of our little WRX.
The seat has too much give even with the straps secured, and the seat ended up bending wherever my body wanted it versus properly restricting my back from leaning/curving back too much while paddling
Additionally because it is light weight it doesn't have as much momentum as a hard body kayak does, meaning you'll have to paddle most of the time in rough conditions
