He was uncomfortable in the challenger, but had more than enough room on the execusion pro model

More stable than I anticipated, with enough room for some munchies and a few odd and ends

The kayak is quite stable, has enough room and several nice features

I had purchased the cheaper blue one during a sale and returned it without even opening it, decided to spend the extra money on the better one, so glad I did

There is a solid area behind the rear seat, as well as in the front, and y pi u can easily fit a dry bag in both areas

The booster cushion (my girl used it) was very comfy, but she had small issues with her seat backrest not being as supportive as without the added cushion

Amazing value, color, shape and space, but at second trip floor start to loosing air....

It does not seem to be causing any damage but my fear is that in the long term it could wear the sides .Over all We are happy with this Kayak and feel like we have good value for money and a well built product that we plan on using for years to come

I inflate the bottom cushion, but I would recommend not pushing the valve into the pad as it's hard to pull back out.

Tried to return for poor quality and only received 80% of the purchase price

The material it is made of is just not good tough quality

The kayak itself is relatively good quality, and attachments are useful

For the money, I just don't think there is a better boat available

The boat looks great but one of the seat straps was manufactured with the wrong

Disappointed because I was careful, did not drag the boat

Overall, I am satisfed hopefully my second boat won't start to leak air.

The PVC gets the boat off the ground when one person is dragging it.

The material seems cheap and it got a puncture after the second use.

Very durable 3-ply material, easy to set up and take down

I was very scared it'd get a hole in it, the material is very strong and durable

One more thing, we were extremely careful and never dragged the inflatable kayak across the ground.

Good thing other parts stayed inflated so no emergency occurred

The only minor flaw I can think of is that this thing is GREAT for fishing by myself, all the rod holders and such are in the right place for solo fishing

For now this thing is great and we can pack it around anywhere

There are two things that should be improved in the next versions though: pressure gauge should be on the pump (hate that little thing), and replace the phone mount by a cup holder (know your target group).

Would have been a great product if the one side wasn't defective.

They are making a lot of money and delivering a poorly made inferior product

Good quality product, easy to inflate, comfortable to use.

Obviously they themselves know it is a defective inferior product.

I see a lot of people giving 1, 2, 3 stars and perhaps is a defective product

The pump works great, and the pressure gauge takes the guesswork out of over or under inflating

The second time, the pump broke (we borrowed pump from some strangers..).

One minor exception is one of the kayaks purchased (not ours - but our friend's) had trouble blowing up one side of the kayak - when he took the pump out that particular side would lose air before he could get the plug in - it's a defect and he'll return his to get another one - but ours and the other kayak bought by the other couple is perfect and exceeds our expectations.

The kayak came late, the pump didn't work and when I returned it the charged me for shipping it back to them and a restocking fee

The inflatable materials used are extremely durable and top rate and it took no time at all to blow up the three separate air chambers in the kayak

And since then, I have had a really hard time, finding a replacement pump.

We’ve used it on man-made rapids multiple times and it does really well

Makes for a miserable time when your brand new kayak sinks on its maiden voyage

and I had great time by the end of the day, it fit in my car and in my apt, that’s what I wanted when I bought inflatable kayak

The inflatable seats are much more comfortable than my other kayak.

Inflatable seats are comfortable but i may buy real seats for it in the future

The hose nozzle is not compatible with the seat valves, just the kayak chamber valves, therefore inflating the seats is a nightmare

The seats could be more comfortable, but overall a good deal

Learning: Inflatable seats can't take a typical man slumping against them like he's in a La-Z-Boy

This kayak feels very durable!Super steady and very easy for novices, like me, to get out and enjoy the water

Better to go during tide change when the water is more calm

Purchased this for our family and have been very happy with it after a few trips on both calm and choppier water

n’t feel like you will sink or flip over

Deflating is easy, just twist the valve and do other stuff while it deflates on its own then finish it off with the deflate setting on the hand pump

My only complaint is the unique valve that requires a certain nozzle to inflate the kayak

Love the easy connect valves that don’t leak when removing pump.

I hope the pump lasts because the valves are proprietary.- One of the air chambers developed a really slow leak after a few

I am guessing these 3 valves are all bad since they don't close

Also the gauge that comes with I nice for eliminating the "is that enough air

When I got it home and pumped it back up it lost air again

when I was out on the lake with my daughter, the left chamber began to lose air . .

Unfortunately one of the chambers started to lose air while we were out in the middle of the lake

One of the valve was loosing air as soon as I unplug the pump

Pump is okay, but the kayak has a slow leak on one side.

The 1/2” end of the MNPT male adapter provides a nice leak free friction fot with the Intek Hose without warping or stretching the hose

the Hard Plastic one tracks better (without a skeg) & goes faster than the Intex.

It's just as close to perfect as I can imagine

The skeg allows for straight tracking - usually a shortcoming for inflatables

When it's heavily loaded up weighed down like in my attached photos it doesn't track well with the shallow water skeg

We used the shallow water skeg and it was blowing about 5 knots.

We decided that in a placid shallow river we probably don't need the skeg and it just gets hung up in the shallows so we're going to leave it off next trip

I need a replacement 12181 long skeg, I saw on the website they were unavailbale, I was told the same thing and the caller said he had no idea when any would be back in stock, without a proper skeg I am basically up a creek

INTEX won't answer the phone and has a lengthy customer service process using email and a week turn around??

Will likely buy a different kayak this year with either better customer service or a better warranty

Only rating 1 star because of the bad INTEX customer service and their manufactures warranty

When I called customer service they just said, "too bad, it only had a 90 day warranty

This is the absolute worst customer service that I have ever experienced.5

It can be a bit difficult to take off once your done (I'm not sure what other reviews are referring to that they are loosing the skeg?

the seats are a bit hard to sit in after a while (I recommend sitting on the floor)

The inflatable sides do intrude into the center quite a bit.

I'm happy with a bit slower & more stable.

It is not bad to inflate, but a bit of a workout if you don't have really good upper body strength

I went from a hard shell kayak to one that is inflatable and it was a experience

Wanted to get out on the water, but didn't want a hard shell kayak, due to storage

I wanted a kayak SO bad, but I don't have a vehicle to transport a hard shell,

It will be fine until I research more and get a hard shell
