In addition, where the seams are placed, well let's just say I have what could be equated to razor cuts all over my hands and harms as they are right on top and kept slicing into my arms and fingers as I paddled - my paddle partner also had the same issue and we had to share the one pair of rowing gloves I had tucked away.
We just got out on the kayaks this weekend to take out on a super calm lake
It was easy to paddle and very light (did not use skeg) on calm lake
2 out of 3 of the ones we have haven’t been able to be used on TWO trips out on a calm lake
This was on a calm lake with no floating debris whatsoever
This kayak is a great starter and I have taken my grandchildren out in it also..easy to inflate and the great thing is I can carry it by myself.
Your kayak is inflatable and the last thing you want during a trip is a leak
(But this thing is great, I would advice buying a little electric pump to go with it, because the manual pump it brings is great.... but it’s a big kayak
The pump is wonderful and i was able to blow the entire thing up within 10-15 minutes
Only thing I dont like are the length of the paddles to short will be using my other ones that I use with my regular kayak
I also really liked that the seats are really easy to remove
The inflatable seats are pretty comfortable and there’s decent legroom for one or two people
Cons: inflatable seats did not work for my friends( they tend to lean back and back did not hold), I had to put hard stadium seat on top), water runs into the kayak from pedals
The seats, while not extremely sturdy, at least help you stay upright so you can paddle
The inflatable seats seem comfortable enough just sitting in them with boat on the floor
If you do it by yourself without any weight in the front you definitely feel like it tilts a bit backwards, no big deal but will increase water/wind resistance unless you distribute the weight well
A little bit difficult to deflate and put back into the container.
but I wish it were a bit more sturdy and had a thicker bottom layer for river use.
The patch kit worked fine and the single bites however there were 3 bites next to a seam on the bottom
Since then, there seems to be a slow leak on that side (as in one side feels a bit soft at the end of a trip)
If you do, make sure you get an extended warranty because this kayak will fail on you
The seats r comfortable
The seats r comfortable
n’t work with 2 adults but from what I’ve seen most kayaks wouldn’t

The storage bag is awful and will rip easily and fairly quickly

The storage bag is pretty weak and tares easily.. one of my carry handles, on the boat, ripped off at first use
Only complaints are that the seams are sharp on the top of the sides and interfere with your arms and it is difficult to get it dry and put back in the bag for storage.
If you really want to keep this boat, the only way to deal with this flaw would perhaps be some duct tape to smooth out this seam
Also, there's a very annoying seam along the top edge of the boat, and both of us found that it was scraping our skin as we paddled
First time on a lake the Kayak worked great but the carrying bag split a seam and the zipper broke
On our first time on the water, the seam of the seat broke making this virtually unusable
