The "super-gel" pad has worked for me for years

The gel padding on the inside of the clamp to protect the mobile devices fell out after my 3rd use and I had to glue it back again

The sticky gel made a mess

Now IF the company redesigned the suction cup or supplied both their sticky gel and a non-sticky gel suction cups I be willing to give them another chance to win back my business

Love this holder, but just wish I could find replacement sticky gel

I would not stick the suction cup to leather or vinyl to prevent damages due to adhesive sticky gel from suction cup.
