Apparently my new case is far too slippery for the mount to hold and thus every time I accelerated my phone flew across my car causing havoc

I literally stuck it on my dash, put my phone on it maybe 3-4 times and the whole bottom piece broke off.

I bought this because I was unhappy with the vent phone holder that flopped left & right every time I made a turn in the car.

2nd time...no such luck the internal plastic screw that attached to the suction cup broke an edge and now the suction mount can't attach.

I like the features of it but the ball joint connecting piece broke the first time I tried to adjust it

Only concern is that the plastic that the cradle is made out of seems kind of brittle...time will tell how that holds up.

A knowledgeable neighbor friend of mine has several times cleaned both contact areas with rubbing alcohol and restuck the unit to the dash mount

On both cars, the suction/sticky pad has come loose from the dashboard pad multiple times due to the cantilevered weight when the arm is extended a bit.
