The mount worked really well for the first couple of months after I purchased it

Worked very well first 5 months then the screws to tighten it quit working and soon after the holder came off the adhesive

This works well, very easy to pop the cell phone in and remove

The snap-in feature does take a little getting used to, but works well and holds the phone with no issues.

Best car mount I have use yet as far as mounting and mount stability

I drive my car maybe twice a week tops, and the temperature hasn’t even been over 80

Although I had a terrible car mount on my dash closer to me that I couldn't take off right away, so I put the iOttie next to it.

The holder works as hoped and is worth purchasing for my other vehicle.

This is one of the best accessories I've ever purchased for my truck

This was all around a pretty bad item return this almost instantly the sticky pad was leaving this weird ugly residue

But lo and behold it is one of the most useful items i bought of amazon

Had the tension screw been threaded the other way, or had the head on the left side, the weight of the phone would've secured the holder in its place

In the heat this mount falls off all the time, even though the sticky stuff is worse than having gummy bears stuck to the roof of the school bus.

I'm unsure if it's from the box being damaged or it's just a bad phone holder

Once it melts, the holder is useless, as the melted gel suction cup now slides down the windshield

Real complaint is the adhesive to stick to the dashboard or window

Finally I found one that works correctly and has great adhesive

The adhesive lasted about a week before the mounting device fell off

The suction for the dashboard has a very strong adhesive but the adhesive to mount the phone holder on is no good

The adhesive is not very good, the tab slides around on my charging cable and made a gross sticky area on the cable around the tab

This item is specifically designed to fit in car's air vents

Used on rough roads in a 33' Class C Motorhome, and the phone stayed right where I wanted it, and was a breeze to adjust.

So glad to have such a simple device that actually works as it says it does

It mounting system is secure and held my phone with no issues on some pretty rough roads and trails

Worst issue with the phone holder has been the angle of the hold starts to shift on bumpy roads, but easy to adjust on the fly

Every other phone mount I've used on my dashboard previously would come loose while driving - especially in the heat of the summer

The phone and holder would fall out of the vent while driving making it difficult to visually follow the map

Set up was easy, the one touch works great, the angle is adjustable, there’s no wobble while driving, and it stays stuck on my dashboard even in during hot Texas summers.

1 week after purchase it fell off my dash while driving because the sticky glue patch got too hot to hold it

Now all of them use the messy gel in the cup

This phone holder has the same nasty gel on the suction cup that all of these products now have

The gel isn't needed on a windshield, and the gel limits the effective life span of the suction cup

As others have said, if you leave this in a hot car (90ºF+), the sticky gel stuff on the suction cup will melt and make a nasty mess all over

I moved it from one car to another 5 times the sticky gel that covers the suction cup is coming off

Simply because I felt obligated, I contacted them more than five month after purchasing because the suction base lost its sucktion power and wouldn’t stay in place , they right away sent a replacement part without hesitation after sending them the invoice I had

Didn’t like the adhesion power

Wastes my money, the heat from the sun made the suction lose power and fell from my windshield, wish I could get a replacement or ordered something else

I mean, if Amazon’s says they are used but in good shape, why not give em a crack for the ten bucks?Received two different models, both with missing pieces

This is my 2nd review because I was taking a lot of stuff from the car and managed to bump the holder pretty hard, hard enough that I broke a piece off

Doesn’t leave a nasty residue on window so that’s good.
