It sounds like such a stupid thing to say, but after having so many that would stop sticking, or that connected to my air vent and then would overheat/get too cold, this is fantastic!

I was trying to look for another phone holder that would be able to comply to with VA law (illegal to mount phone holder to windshields) and not block my air vents

We installed this in the air vent to the left of the steering wheel and it works perfectly

Great protect, i just didn't have a flat spot on my dash or console and don't like anything in the air vents

I recommend only mounting the suction cup part on glass as it might damage other materials.
