That considered, I don't think I would trust this case for even one good drop.

After a few times of accidental drops, I even got out of the habit of trying to catch my phone midair as it falls as I am completely confident that this case will protect my phone

The "drop dead" attribute, at least for me, is that the "on" button sticks up so much and is so easy to push that I am certain my phone would be turning "on" all the time in my pocket, which would have a substantial negative impact on battery life.
