I work from home and am able to empty the catch bin a couple times during each cleaning cycle.
As long as I run it several times a week I don’t have to clean out the bin as often, but it’s always several times per cleaning cycle.

Pros:- using the App to schedule daily cleanings is a breeze- dust bin holds a surprising amount of debris-navigation works well- leaves beautiful vacuum lines- quiet enough that we can run it downstairs while baby napsWe have been using this Roomba for about 6 months.

Others have found the robot's randomness unsatisfactory, and it does at first surprise you, but once you get used to it, you realize it works just fine
I though the app was a gimmick at first but the first time you get a notification that the robot is having trouble(like it got stuck) it makes your life so much easier
but the robot is very retarded at times in trying to find its base back home and very inconsistent
The robot will wonder around for a few minutes after it notifies you on the phone that the job is done, looking for the base and finally it will go there and put itself to charge
Once I bought from the IRobot manufacturer I had a perfect robot that does an excellent job

This robotic vacuum gives you the basics and it does a great job vacuuming debris despite having only one single brush.
In my opinion so far the vacuuming that is done is pretty good, but not as good as if I vacuumed myself with my regular vacuum
This is an expensive vacuum, but if you can afford this I would recommend this for all of your in between and light vacuuming, and if you run this once a day that may be the only vacuuming you may need
We have a very clean house and vacuum every day and this over priced
This vacuum results in circles of cat hair on that rug even if I trap it in the room for like the entire

The Roomba did not clean my entire home in one session, but each area that it cleaned was cleaned quite well
Its path seems random, and it will often go back and forth over the same spots and ignore other areas
Keeps banging against walls and has no idea where it went and where it hasn't gone yet, as a result it frequently does the same area over and over while missing half the house
The only drawback is if it has already cleaned an area and you move something and want it to clean that area again, it goes someplace else
We've had the unit for just about a month now and have noticed a few things, first, it's not all that "smart" and tends to "over clean" certain areas, it basically just goes over and over a small area and does not like to go over the edges of any of our area rugs, none of which have pads under them or deep pile and are actually quite thin compared to more expensive area rugs.

Second, my Roomba finds its way back to the charger only about half the time, the other half it either dies too early attempting to find home or just seems to fumble with finally locking itself into the charging station.
It can't always find its way "home" and misses a lot of stuff
Also pathetic that there's still ZERO MAPPING at this price point, and the thing just randomly wanders around - incredibly inefficient way to clean (or avoid obstacles, what a concept).The invisible walls are also wildly overpriced, but at least they switched from C to AA batteries
I tried doing it without it being docked and it does not work that way
It does not turn off vacuuming while returning and cleans on its way back as well

I was very disappointed when I opened the box for the Roomba to find human and cat hair stuck in the little brushes, scratches around the entire vacuum, and missing parts and pieces from the plastic bag
Disappointed that you buy an expensive piece of equipment and have it for 2 weeks and the tab for filter door has already broken.
Piece of junk compared to our previous vacuum, a Neato
