In lieu of making my own, which would never be as good or good looking as these, they are definitely worth it.

Very solid build and strikingly good looks really kicked my studio up a notch.

No... these should be 34.99, and I hope that a chinese company can circumnavigate whatever copyright block is keeping someone from making a competing product, because unfortunately these acoustic isolation stands are not $100 worth of engineering, but rather $34.99 worth of decent looking and decently-built isolation stands that use very basic tried-and-true isolation engineering

Isoacoustics received the ProSound Best of Show award for their stands at NAMM 2012.I find the clearer imaging helps me with positioning the tracks in the stereo image in my home recording studio

My speakers sound so much better now, with proper imaging and cleaner midbass

A must own for anyone whose monitors are on a desk (I bet they would improve the sound on speaker stands too) and want to improve sonic imaging

improves clarity and the stereo image with much tighter low end response

I got the Medium sized for my Mackie MR5mk3 Monitor Speakers and they work great.

The midbass tightened up revealing more low frequency extension and more clarity everywhere else in the audio spectrum.

They do what they were designed to do, clean up the sound frequencies by isolating the bass rumbling.

Or perhaps the IsoAcoustics clean up some frequencies more than others

As expected, the high frequencies are much more prominent due to the tweeters for my studio monitors being properly aligned with ear level

I have a pair of Mackie CR4 monitors on these stands and they don't vibrate very much to begin with so for the price and other issues, I would not purchase again.

The smallest ISOs make a very good pairing with the Vanatoos

I bought a pair of these to support a pair of JBL LSR305 monitors.

I am using this pair to support my JBL LSR-305s and with works well for this purpose

I can't comment on whether they improve sound quality as they are new speakers

I'm using them with Vanatoo 1's and noticed higher quality clearer sound immediately

Now if you have cheap, low-quality monitors, this product will NOT make them sound better; in fact, they will probably sound worse.

All in all, this is a good way to get speakers at the right height on a desk

They'll get the speakers at the right height, or the right angle, so you get optimal sound.

However, getting a good, even height and angle is difficult if not impossible.

It lifts my desktop monitor speakers to the correct height and they sound great

The bass is less boomy because it is not resonating through the furniture (this might take some getting used to, but convince yourself that it is more 'faithful').Walking round NAMM looking at different companies demoing all sorts of audio gadgets, many of them were using some kind of speaker isolation (some were using isol8trs) so the pro's obviously feel it is a good thing to isolate your speakers

These work by not only raising and pointing the speakers up closer to your ear level (or pointing them down if they are on a surface higher than ear-level), but also by isolating the sound from the surface the speakers are on and absorbing vibrations transmitting from the speakers to the table, desk or shelf

These did reduce the perceived bass response of my speakers a bit but that is probably because before installing these, the sound of my desktop speakers was actually a bit muddy, rather than accurate

It's about the know-how that went into the design and manufacture of these things to effectively isolate your speakers so that the sound coming out of them isn't absorbed or colored by anything else until it reaches your ears

These are great for isolating your speakers from your desk.

Yea, my monitors wobble a little bit with the table, but it gives a little bit of extra height to make them just right at my ear lvl, and it sounds awsome

These are a bit expensive given that they are just made out of plastic and rubber pieces however I noticed an immediate improvement after installing these mostly in the stereo separation but it also improved over-all clarity too
