They'll get the speakers at the right height, or the right angle, so you get optimal sound.

Before ordering these, I tried getting by with some 4" high foam yoga blocks just to get my speakers raised to the proper listening height

The height and tilt upwards/downwards capabilities of these is a nice bonus too

However, getting a good, even height and angle is difficult if not impossible.

The bass is much improved, the additional height is also welcome and really helps open up my JBL 305s

I bought this product as an elegant solution to raise my studio monitors to a proper height so that the tweeters aligned with ear level

However, this requires that the speakers be of the appropriate height; since mine are fairly large, the tweeters are at exactly the right height with the stands set to 8 inches

All in all, this is a good way to get speakers at the right height on a desk

perfect height and it reallly does help with vibrations with your computer desk if that is where you end up using them.

Not only keeps the sound tight but helps position my PreSonus Eris 5's at just the right height and angle.
