Yes, they're 'expensive' but if the quality and clarity of your sound is important to you, these stands are worth every penny!

But considering that I spent $500 on the speakers for quality audio, I rationalized it by telling myself that an extra $100 for improved quality is worth it and a good bang for my buck

The monitor stands are very nice and very high quality, but they are extremely overpriced.
