The best noise protection and secure fit (for me) is the 3-flange rubber ear pieces, which look just like the Etyomtic ones

You squeeze and compress the foam plugs put them in your ear and they expand for a perfect fit

My only complaints were the battery life, I was not getting the 10 hours as stated, but after sending a email with my problem they responded within a few hours and 2 days latter I had a new pair in my mail box

My goal has been to find some earbuds that will block out the bad music at the gym so I can work out while listening to my own music or an audiobook, and while I think the Ankers are excellent for the price overall, they don't block out much sound

They cancel noise so well that the music sounds great at lower volumes.

While I use these primarily for listening to podcasts, music sounds good as well.

Decent sound quality but my right ear bud quit working after a month of having them

The rubber triple flange eartips tend to hurt my ears after long periods of wear, so I didn't use them.

I will be suggesting this product to anyone I know who commutes or is looking for noise isolating headphones!

If I put in my upper pocket it has much better reception

The best I can tell, the reception with the ISOtunes PRO receiver is marginal

If my body is anywhere near in between my phone and the headphones, I lose reception

I took my first call yesterday and while the reception was good my caller said that there was an echo on his end and he said he couldn't make out my words well

I work in a very noisy machine room and they actually are OSHA rated to 27 db as a hearing protection device.

They are essentially foam ear plugs with sound holes, so they block as much ambient noise as a foam ear plug, maybe slightly more

They are wildly staticky and stutter and lose connection just with the phone in my pocket and me walking around, or in my jacket pocket

If I want to get solid audio when on a phone call I have to hold my iPhone out in front of me to make a good connection

I wander more than a 10 feet or so from it, I lose the connection

Sometimes when the phone was in my pocket, it would lose connection briefly

With the ISOtune PRO I would lose the connection just by having my phone in my pants pocket

I ordered these to use while mowing and using other noisy power tools.

Love these while working in the shop with loud tools and mowing.

Some people don’t like it because if something is going on with your machine you can’t really hear it

Also, when used with my iPhone people complained that there was a lot of clipping in the audio

But people on the other end complained they couldn’t understand what I was saying

I use them when running my river boat and it's great to block the engine noise and jam to some tunes

I run heavy equipment daily, with 109 db engine noise level

They will be perfect for airplane rides to listen at a low volume rather than having to increase the volume to overcome the engine noise.
