It has a smoother bass response than my Bose speaker did
But for portable sound with incredible bass response, this unit is amazing
Compared to other Bluetooth speakers this one has exceptional audio quality and bass response.
It is strong and distortion free with excellent bass response for a nonpowered woofer
The advantage of the Roar 2 is that you have several different playback modes that boosts bass response and overall sound response, coupled with versatility in speaker orientation.

but now this product is much more best with bass and overall sound which can be get in cheap price
Product stopped working a couple of days after the return window....funny how that seems to ahppen
Overall it's a great product, I just wish it could push out a heavier bass & was a little stronger in general on the purity of sound at high volumes.
Good product, just a few issues with bluetooth pairing, for exemple it doesn't pair with my linux and sometimes the pairing with my windows 10 disconnects randomly

Okay, I’ll admit it, I don’t have a series of lame portable Bluetooth speakers that I’ve used through the years, this is really the only one I’ve had so far.
Connecting the speaker with your phone is breezy as any of the modern Bluetooth Speakers
This is a very nice bluetooth speaker, the bass is very deep and the sound is very clear.
Best damn bluetooth speaker, better than anything I've tried including Bose, Sony, UE, and Harmon Kardon
Overall this is one well built, great sounding portable bluetooth speaker.

Jam heavy metal battery lasts about 4 hrs using bluetooth
Solidly built, (sturdy metal chasis, hence the name) heavy weight Bluetooth with a quality I was not expecting
Extras - well both the Heavy Metal and the Roar 2 offer speakerphone capability, though it's a little easier to control on the Roar 2.
Giving JAM Heavy Metal 3.5 stars (deducting 1.5 stars as the dB output that I was expecting out of it was a tad bit lower).
Waterproofing, color, and form factor were not important (though I would have loved a retro form factor like the Tewell if only it's sound was as nice as the Jam heavy metal)

Good sound,but has always powered off randomly
So, despite the fact that the box was damaged somehow during shipping (the plastic case surrounding the speaker was cracked), AND the super loud obnoxious power on / power off voice, I still give this speaker 5 stars
The power-on, power-off and bluetooth alerts are so ridiculously loud (and bassy!), that they seem to be degrading the speaker
