I absolutely LOVE the Boombox.

I can't recommend the JBL Boombox 2 enough, it's a steal for the asking price.

For a portable waterproof boombox, this thing is on steroids

I would like a boombox the size of a yule log for my beach

Where the Extreme 2 fits comfortably on my kitchen counter, the Boombox just requires a heck of a lot more counter space

I have to say that we really like the boombox.

Be aware tho, people will be wanting to hold it and carry it like a classic boombox so don't be afraid, you can't hurt this thing.

So the question is is the Boombox 2 enough of a step up to buy relative to the Extreme 2.

After owning the boombox 1 which is $100 to $200 cheaper depending on if it’s on sale, I can say in full confidence that the boombox 2 is not worth the extra money

The Bass is awesome, the mids and highs are adequate but not outstandingThis boombox on a full charge lasted easily though my party (6 hours) without any reduction in sound volume (I had it at 60% vol) or quality

I have been enjoying the JBL Boombox 2!

Maybe if you are in college and really want to blow the doors off your dorm room or hang out on the quad or the park, then maybe you'll prefer the Boombox.

This boombox is almost overkill for indoor use, it really shines outdoors at a gathering where you can really kick up the bass

Overall, this is an outstanding boombox that his reviewer has no hesitation in highly recommending!

I hade the boombox 1 and absolutely loved it.
