I was very surprised for the price how good this speaker sounds.

The sound on this little system is great, and the price, and the footprint, are just right.

Maybe I am too fussy, but I think the sound is a little 'tinny'...still, it is capable of producing adequate sound in a small room and the price was reasonable.

The first dock's remote control stopped working within 2 weeks of me buying it

The remote control works very well as it is RF and easy to clip on your shirt, pants, etc

The speakers can get very loud inside and if you do not shut off the remote when you are not using it, it looks like you can wear it down

Like other reviewers have said, the bass leaves a little to be desired, but for such a small, convenient speaker at this price, it's not a big deal

The remote is a handy feature, though like all things related to iPod it is tiny and I'm sure it will get lost too soon

It comes with an remote and has a nice feature to lock it if you are not using the remote

I haven't spent too much time listening to it, had to warranty return my ipod (long story, its why i've had so many different speakers).Another awesome feature is the dock adapter port on the speaker

It is not battery operated, so you must have an outlet nearby to plug it into, but this also means it charges your iPod even while it plays, also a nice feature

One of my favorite features is it has good volume when I plug my PC into the Aux.

My Ipod is more fun because I can get better sounds in my music.

It is just as portable as the iPod, so it's ideal for travel or to just move around the house, take to work, or even play outside.

This is such a great iPod accessory to have if you like listening to your music all the time and not just while traveling

They have an excellent sound quality and very high volume

The biggest drawback is no batteries (I also have the on-stage micro which does, but sound quality is nearly worthless) and the clunky, huge, heavy power supply.

I'd recommend the JBL On Stage II for several reasons: the material and build quality along with the attention to detail; the unique, eye-catching saucer design along with a handy, sensitive remote switch; "tight" audio, with exceptionally crisp treble frequencies and adequately deep but not boomy bass

The JBL brand name (Harmon Int.), design and build quality may be worth a few extra dollars, but if audio quality is a primary consideration, the Athena iVoice sounds fuller, deeper, richer than the On Stage II.

Easy to use, elegant design, and worked great right out of the box.

The speakers sound good to a point, we use the system on a low volume, it doesn't sound great when you turn the speakers up to a loud volume.

Great unit, sounds great for such a small unit, but didn't realize it was an older model and won't charge the newer ipod's and iTouch.

The remote controls everything, so without it this unit is a pain

Most desktop computer speakers can probably outperform this unit
