I am unsure if it will protect my phone if it falls on its face due to there not being a big difference between case and phone on the front

The case in general will protect your phone but the reason i gave it a 2 star rating is because the volume buttons won't work after you put the phone in the protective case, and for this i returned it

Takes a little extra pressure to push the buttons since the material is not super flexible, but if that makes it tougher protecting my phone, no problem.

Phone slipped right into the case, all buttons work, case has a very nice "hand feel" about it that protects the phone without being unnecessarily thick or weighty.

I don't feel like the case would protect the phone's screen adequately enough if it were dropped - and isn't that the point
