The design is nice and simple and I believe adds a substantial amount of protection although we only had one drop (that the kids told me about).

I feel like it is an alright design, but needed to feel like a solid grip, not some floppy attachment.

It's a catch-22; a more effective and hand-fitting case would be hideous and probably not fit in a travel bag (depending what kind you have), so I guess the design was a little less bulky but more "with the case on, you're a little less likely to drop it, but it's still not as great as an actual joy

This case is great--quality material, fits snug, guards my Switch well, and looks good.

The grip is pretty comfortable and I was able to get the case on the switch fairly easy.

Fits a little to loose for my taste and partially blocks the top L & R buttons.

My only complaint is that the case can be a bit difficult to remove at times since it will not fit into the dock, but it's just a minor complaint.
