For brighter amps I recommend the Tung-Sol reissue 12AX7, these have a warm, round, and full tone, perfect for an overly bright amp

Replacing this tube in a noisy amp did not solve the problem.

These tubes are manufactured in the same factory as the Groove Tubes that come stock in so many classic tube amps

I don't know; amps and tubes are often a shot in the dark, but these tubes work for my amp

If you already have a bright amp (blackface Fender, VOX)these are not recommended, they bring out the higher frequencies and tend to sound a bit harsh in these types of amps
