The only drawback to the JJ's is they are not as sturdy and long lasting as the Russian made brands (Sovtek, Electro Harmonix, etc.) but have a much richer sound without the muddiness associated with the Russian types

These new tubes have cleaned up the sound and the amp has a lot more volume and is a lot crisper sounding with little distortion at higher volumes

Tried a t-12AX7-S-JJ in V1 hmmm better..but the clean channel was blaa not a clean sound yet

Great valve,lotsa drive and bottom end love the sound of a good new valve white hot!!
