Item was very easy to assemble and take down very sturdy and strong
Item was missing the top bar so I was unable to put the studio together and unable to report on the quality of the item.
Rated 3 stars because it will work for something small and light but otherwise don't buy if you have heavier drapery to create backdrops because the item is flimsy
Its good item, cheap n easy to carryOnly thing the top bar is not heavy duty.

I was so happy to get this, but I used it outside and the wind knocked it down breaking the top pole off
One pole was slightly dented so it was hard to adjust because it wouldn't go in and was a pain
To a degree it's fragile because things seem to be very easily bent except the main rods, the top pole is on the thin side also but still sturdy enough that I do not worry.
The only part left to connect is the top pole, which are just two poles you have to interlock, then tighten with the already placed washers and lock
Mine was broken on one side and missing a pole on the other

Screw fell from the base and I had to prop books underneath to hold the pole in place.
My only complaint is that when extending the backdrop stands upwards, it's easy to overextend them, and sometimes screws will come loose or fall off
Purchased in May, top left screw that's supposed to be secured to the top of the pole to hold the top bar came out and there isn't a way to re-secure it.
Great stand as far as size but the screws to tighten the side poles stripped the first day and wouldn't stay up on one
