The reviews for "Just Mixer" didn't really help me decide if this would serve my purpose, but the price made it worth the risk

Reasonable price, can adjust relative level for each computer as well as master level, and it is USB powered so does not require batteries (it does work on batteries too).

and I could not get to a decent volume without a lot of distortion

It works great with controlling two volumes at once and has both sounds go into one output

If you're all line inputs this is a decent tiny battery powered mixer, but you can really only use el'cheapo mikes or mikes with a pre-amp output of some sort

So I can hear a game, and through a headset also hear movies/music - but nobody in game can hear what I'm listening too.the unit:Battery power is best to avoid hum - otherwise be prepared to isolate power cables into this small unit.

It is simple enough to use for a small gig and the battery power is a bonus.

The only thing I found is that there is a lot of RF noise (clicking, buzzing, humming) when I connect my iPhone to the same USB hub, but that is to be expected since it such a powerful RF device

I don't need to use this mixer as a portable device, but it's nice to know that it would be easy to use in the field given its small size

I work at home frequently and like to listen to music from my phone while I work but sometimes need to listen to audio from my computer; I needed a solution where I could listen to both (not simultaneously) without having to constantly plug/un-plug audio connections to my one set of computer speakers on my desk

It can run from 2 x AA batteries but that is not a good long term solution for a stationary setup like mine.

UpdateI got email from the seller, suggesting that static noise can be caused by low quality power supply

You just have to turn down the gain control to eliminate static noise when first using it.

Connecting input source (electric violin in my case) doesn't change amount of static noise in output

Output signal contains a lot of static noise when master volume set to value higher than 1/10

Batteries lasted all day, worked flawlessly and is quiet (low noise).
