I wouldn't trade these for anything, and have a lovely smartneedle seam ripper I've never used, relying on these scissors instead
They are slightly curved, so that when nipping a tough seam, they glide in between the fabrics.
The curved end is dula purpose.. make close thread cuts without slicing the fabric, and bonus you can use them as a really good seam ripper, so ething I use a lot of haha.
