I use coconut oil to make french toast with in a stainless steel pan
The best tip I can give with making your stainless steel pan nonstick-ish is spray the pan before heating
I clean all my stainless steel with an equal parts water and vinegar in my spray bottle and wipe with my microfiber cloth, then I spray a very fine mist of this on my clean appliances, buff with a clean microfiber cloth, and they look AWESOME!!
I was searching for something semi-organic (minus the additive that they put in this to make it an aerosol ) to add shine to my stainless steel, and it is great.
Anywho, I do use it as a shine on my stainless steel appliances, and it is amazaballs!!!!
but I recognize the health benefits of a healthy fat like coconut oil
I've been interested in switching my cooking spray from olive oil to coconut oil for the health benefits, but was worried about taste/price/etc
With this product you'll get the same cooking benefits without the health benefits (the healthy, nutritious fat in the raw oil itself) at a much lower price per useDefinitely purchase this canned coconut oil spray over Spectrum's as
This is a great cooking spray - we have switched over to coconut oil in almost all of our cooking and this is a great product.
so I use this instead of all the other odd cooking sprays with artificial ingredients in it
I love cooking with this stuff, it tastes great, goes a long way, and makes me feel good because it's all natural and fair trade and organic and all that other stuff
My experience is that this does not spray very evenly like most cooking oil sprays like PAM or whatever.
It is an expensive product, but it simplifies my cooking a great

i have been reading that coconut oil is the better oil to use for cooking, i use it to pan fry salmon, trout, and eggs, and its different but my wife and i like it better than olive oil
I've seen virgin olive oil in spray cans but never, my favorite and the most healthful, coconut oil.
My experience is that this does not spray very evenly like most cooking oil sprays like PAM or whatever.
I'd been using the solid Kelapo oil and was so pleased to see a spray as we still occasionally used products like PAM, but now can use this more healthful one
It works well, however, and gave my salmon a great taste.
luckily this doesn't have a strong or really any coconut taste
Smells great, food tastes
Making eggs, tortillas on a skillet, I thought this would be superior to pouring coconut oil into the pan and swishing it around, but no, I feel like I have to use a quarter of the can to get any non-stick effect, and the taste and smell which soaks into the tortilla is really bad.
