I've had stainless steel before (Kenmore Elite) and didn't have this problem.

The finish is "stainless", which this kitchen already has, so it made sense to stay with that look, but I actually see little value in actual exterior stainless steel finishes, and magnets don't stick to it.

If you are looking for a nice stainless steel refrigerator and a great price - this is a great buy.

Very nice doors stainless steel and smudge resistant

It drives up the cost, but this unit is only a "stainless" look, not real stainless steel.

Additionally, the stainless steel fridge has a visible dent in the top of it, so they must have hit something on the way in.
