I didn't think I could love a car vent mount the way I did my former magnetic one.

It used to be $25+shipping and tax so the current pricing is better for those not interested in trying magnetic vent mounts for their phones

Even with that issue, I have no problem recommending this car mount to folks that are looking for a small, lightweight vent mount for their mobile devices

it's not the best mount because sometimes it comes off the vent

The weight of the vent mount plus the weight of the phone makes the vents move when I'm cornering

This mount works best when vertically mounted on a curved air vent such that the bottom of the device in the holder is supported by the lower vanes on the air vent.

Since it's a vent mount it does sit at a rather awkward angle but not a huge deal.

This mount seems like a good phone holder but it doesn't fit the vents of the Tesla Model S even though the description states it fits any vent

There might be a bit of additional installation for your vent mount, you'll need a prop to hold open your vent to keep it steady.

The downfall is that it blocks about 50% of my vent and airflow, but that's true with any vent mount

The leather shrunk in the heat and the mount loosened and fell out of my vent within 2 months.

I've also used it in a 2011 Subaru Forester, the central air vents are lower on the dash and the mount isn't as flush there and sags under the weight of the phone, which angles the phone downward.
