Keurig K-Elite, Brushed Silver Single Serve Coffee Maker and Laughing Man Colombia Huila K-Cup Pods, 44 ct

    • I have had coffee, hot chocolate, brewed tea, iced coffee, iced tea, and tea from tea bags and hot water.
    • I also like the hot water only feature
    • The hot water function has a lot of uses especially when you consider the large water tank (75 ounces), over a half gallon.
    • 4, 6, 8, 10oz hot and strong if desired; 12oz iced; simple hot water in the first 4 sizes
    • It made for a nicer bowl of oatmeal than I get out of the microwave because only the water was hot, the additives like nuts and raisins weren't heated as well, only as much as they get from the water
    • Not completely sure what the "hot water" function does
    • The awarder dispenser holds enough water for several cups instead of for just one
    • There is also a "strong" button, and I have used the "hot water" one often for tea
    • personally I don’t use this option and prefer using a separate heating kettle because I believe the water is just always cleaner that way - no worry about any “descaling” or anything else
    • There IS the capability for multiple brew sizes, a brew over ice feature, Hot water at the press of a button WITHOUT having to lift the lid
    • Just used it this morning… MUCH better than our old one which was still in good shape but not heating the water hot enough sometimes.
    • I appreciate the hot water option as I drink a lot of tea
    • I really like it better as it has many more features including a Hot water
    • Inside of the box was one free water filter and 6 k-cups of various flavors for you to try
    • The water reservoir nice and big if a little awkward to get on when full
    • I boil water and grab a bag of Irish Breakfast leaves
    • I love the hot water feature
    • There are different cup sizes if you like more water in your coffee
    • Hot water setting.
    • I enjoy the hot water button that works great for instant cereal or cup of soups etc
    • Having a good sized tank and selectable hot water selection is really nice
    • I enjoy the "hot water" option and used it this morning for my oatmeal, with great success
    • Spousal unit was initially slowed in using this K-Elite in one particular area - simple hot water dispensing.
    • It's even quicker when you leave it on and keeps the water hot.
    • Worked like this for 2 mos, then started to just pump cold water continuously as soon as it was turned on.
    • If you want a single serve coffee maker, get a Bunn My Cafe, Ninja Coffee Bar or any machine that properly drips hot water through a basket
    • Most other single function buttons one for each of five sizes, a hot water button, a iced coffee button, and one to make the brew stronger.
    • You can choose a "strong" brew cycle, a "hot water" option for tea (make sure you don't have a previous k-cup in place!
    • The filter is soaked in water for 5 minutes, then it is placed inside the carriage, which then can be closed again, and snapped down into the bottom of the nice generous water reservoir
    • Love all the cup sizes, the hot water button, and the strong brew
    • That gets turned into 16oz of cool coffee water after you brew over ice.
    • It then dispensed hot water and you were done.
    • Not working at all just spitting out cold water 🤨
    • On this new K-Elite brewer you can still get a cup of Hot water but you have to press a button for that first, then press the cup size button.
    • Water temp coming out of hot water is 152degree , a far cry from the falsely reported 187 and 192
    • The water reservoir nice and big if a little awkward to get on when full
    • Brews without leaving grounds and hot water seems hot enough on highest setting
    • Pros, compared to the K55:• Larger water capacity• A blue light that shows water level in the reservoir• A specific “hot water” button (of course you can get hot water with the K55 but remember to remove the previous pod or you will get weak
    • I do wish the water got a little bit hotter - but that is the price we pay for a society that has been rewarded for stupid mistakes
    • If you look quickly at the rear of the tank and use that as your top off guide you will have water all over the counter as I did the first time filling this
    • I only really use it to make tea, so I love how quickly the water is hot and ready to use
    • Hot water feature for teas works great
    • Multiple water size settings and with the hot water
    • This latest Keurig with the additional hot water only button, and iced tea or iced coffee button for lattes was the deal breaker for buying this new model
    • it also heats the water much hotter than the old one.
    • Love all the cup options, if you want a stronger brew , hot water,
    • You can choose to just provide hot water, which is great for making oatmeal quickly
    • I’ve also used it for the hot water only and so far, so good!
    • The ice option and the hot water option are nice as well
    • I’m a tea drinker, and the hot-water-on-demand button is my friend
    • much is shielded from the coffee and hot water stream and cleaning and service is easy
    • You can select the hot water temperature for between 187 and 192 degrees.
    • And as far as I can tell, it just squirts water through the pod about 10 seconds slower
    • Run the test hot water through the machine to make sure everything is working correctly and to remove any particles that might have gotten into the machine during manufacturing and shipping.
    • Delivers great coffee, hot water, hot chocolate, hot cider, etc
    • Main lessons learned in all this time are:1) close the mechanism slowly on the coffee pods to avoid clogging up the water stream (especially at altitude)2) san francisco bay offers a great price point on eco friendly pods3) use filtered water... descaling is a painOn this
    • I use my lucky bottled water since I have a poor water supply, being that our pipes are very old, and mid century
    • Other features include a hot water button if you like coffee flavored water in your oatmeal, a temperature control feature that you'll always want to set to the hottest (192 degrees), because 195 is actually the minimum for properly brewed coffee
    • Ice/hot water setting are pretty useless to me, but still there are so many new features on this one that I do utilize that I don't care about that
    • It includes a water filter which I definitely appreciate as the older models required you to buy it separate
    • The reason behind the 2 stars is because it leaks water from the dispenser area into either the cup you have under it or, if no cup is present, into the tray and onto the counter
    • I've also used this K-Elite for hot water for cups of hot chocolate (non-pod) and for instant oatmeal.
    • It brews fast and the hot water option is awesome.
    • I use my lucky bottled water since I have a poor water supply, being that our pipes are very old, and mid century
    • I do love that I can just have it dispense hot water
    • Like the different brewing options and my tea drinker husband like the hot water only setting.
    • This comes in handy for dispensing hot water for some teas which have a water temperature requirement
    • My husband drinks a 16 ounce cup, so I run two 8 ounce ones, some may think that is too much work, but he doesn't like his coffee as strong as I do
    • Keurig coffees are available in stores as well as from Amazon
