Keurig K-Select Single Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker, With Strength Control and Hot Water On Demand, Matte Black

    • Many times during the day I press the button and choose the Brewing size, and I walk away thinking that when I come back I will have a fresh cup of coffee, but not at all
    • Now I've got a simple but nice little drip maker and I can get a proper strong cup of
    • I wanted one that didn't have a lot of bells and whistles, was easy to use, and would basically just brew a nice cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate quickly.
    • This makes one delicious and hot cup of coffee and super easy to use.
    • It doe not light up the Selection Buttons to indicate it is warmed up and ready for you to inset a K-Cup and make your selection like the older KEURIG makes do (Possible a Programing Error or Design Flaw) if you wait 2 or 3 minutes after pressing Power button, then make your selection this NEW K-Select series does make a good HOT cup of coffee, but there is no indication that it is ready to make Hot coffee, the only indication is that the Power Button is lit up and not any of the Selection buttons before you insert your C-Cup..
    • Makes a great cup of coffee for "instant" coffee, but clearly less dependable than past Keurigs, so I'd stick with an older one if you can find one unless you really need the counter space.
    • We considered a 2.0 because of the strong brew feature, but didn't want to "hack" our solo fill k-cups to work; plus, we often buy 3rd party k-cups (Lidl's Columbian blend is AMAZING!).It's a newer design, so there isn't much in the way of longevity reports; but what I read looked promising, so we pulled the trigger
    • Overall, the K-Select is a nice midrange brewer that is short on features, but brews a great cup of coffee.
    • The drip coffee maker I replaced it with is 1/3 of the footprint/size/height etc., and makes the coffee strong and ready to fill my mug in 7 minutes while I do other things, about the same time as the double cup
    • It makes a decent cup of coffee once it FINALLY produces one, but who has time for this
    • This pot makes the perfect cup.
    • I love having a fresh cup of coffee, one at a time
    • it does what it should and makes a very nice hot cup of coffee.a couple things that annoy me are:the bottom part, where a single cup of coffee sits, needs to secure better

    • I love the different cup levels available and also the ability to make the cup stronger if desired
    • Make sure you warm your cup/mug before brewing or it cools of rather rapidly.
    • Produces a fine cup of coffee.
    • I especially like the fact that each cup of coffee is fresh.
    • I really like the strong feature as I can have a stronger cup of coffee (to keep me awake). The
    • However, if you want a STRONG cup of coffee that you can actually taste, the only way to approximate that is to press the button for extra strong, and then the button for the smallest cup, so you don't get the water going through to the last watery bit, and I was having to do two keurig cups this way to fill one decent mug.
    • It makes a decent cup of coffee.
    • I have a lot of great coffee makers (I swear by Bonavita and Aeropress) and nothing gets me set for my day like a nice cup, but the extra waste of these pods and the extra cost really had be biased against the pod brewers
    • I did not want the 2.0 Keurig because of the proprietary cups it required
    • I'm not going to tell you the coffee from this Keurig is equal to a pour-over style brewer with freshly ground coffee, but surprisingly, it's pretty good in comparison to a perfect cup, and it's just ludicrously more convenient.
    • Otherwise, it makes a great, quick, cup of coffee.
    • Each cup is consistent with the last cup excellent
    • I am sure that the people who prefer genuinely strong coffee like I do are only a fraction of the market, and I'm not passing any moral judgments on those who like a more moderate cup, nor am I defending my preference for stronger, but I will say that I'm not simply trying to make a Keurig produce espresso - I just want strong coffee.

    • Ease of use--just pop the cup in, press the button, and go do something else for 30 seconds while your drink is made.4
    • I love the hot cider and hot chocolate cups.
    • Makes a great cup of coffee.
    • Injecting water through coffee grounds in about 30 secondary cannot provide a robust cup of brew
    • However, the convenience of being able to make a single cup quickly is worth the trade off.
    • Although there's a button on this model to brew stronger coffee, the real trick to getting a strong cup -- in addition to choosing the right K-cup, of course -- is making the cup size smaller.
    • I tried everything I know to get this thing to make a decent cup, from using the reusable k cup, to various grinds, to using only the smallest cup setting
    • Doesn’t have all the bells and whistles but it makes a nice cup of coffee.
