It doe not light up the Selection Buttons to indicate it is warmed up and ready for you to inset a K-Cup and make your selection like the older KEURIG makes do (Possible a Programing Error or Design Flaw) if you wait 2 or 3 minutes after pressing Power button, then make your selection this NEW K-Select series does make a good HOT cup of coffee, but there is no indication that it is ready to make Hot coffee, the only indication is that the Power Button is lit up and not any of the Selection buttons before you insert your C-Cup..

Makes a great cup of coffee for "instant" coffee, but clearly less dependable than past Keurigs, so I'd stick with an older one if you can find one unless you really need the counter space.

We considered a 2.0 because of the strong brew feature, but didn't want to "hack" our solo fill k-cups to work; plus, we often buy 3rd party k-cups (Lidl's Columbian blend is AMAZING!).It's a newer design, so there isn't much in the way of longevity reports; but what I read looked promising, so we pulled the trigger

Overall, the K-Select is a nice midrange brewer that is short on features, but brews a great cup of coffee.

However, if you want a STRONG cup of coffee that you can actually taste, the only way to approximate that is to press the button for extra strong, and then the button for the smallest cup, so you don't get the water going through to the last watery bit, and I was having to do two keurig cups this way to fill one decent mug.

I'm not going to tell you the coffee from this Keurig is equal to a pour-over style brewer with freshly ground coffee, but surprisingly, it's pretty good in comparison to a perfect cup, and it's just ludicrously more convenient.

I am sure that the people who prefer genuinely strong coffee like I do are only a fraction of the market, and I'm not passing any moral judgments on those who like a more moderate cup, nor am I defending my preference for stronger, but I will say that I'm not simply trying to make a Keurig produce espresso - I just want strong coffee.
