the fit is great for a 4 to 8 year old, they are adjustable ..however their volume controlled which makes them not that loud at all and my kids hate it lol so they have not been wearing

For me, it is as if this headphone merely attenuates -- like an extra resistance that is in line; and the attenuation reaches the upper safe volume limit for hearing, ONLY if your device can drive the headphones at the maximum power rating the connector is rated for.

My kids love these - and as a parent I love the volume limiting.
