Great customer service but quality of headphones isn’t that great

My son opened these on the 14th and the were broken by the 16 or 17.

I mean (for example) if your device would want to be twice as loud as is safe for long term hearing, the sound in headphone would get louder and louder as you adjust the volume from silent to maximum in the kindle until it it reached the half way mark, and then as you increased the volume on the kindle the volume your child hears would remain constant

We then had to move the "3.5mm plug" in and around several times to finally get barely audible sound from both earphones

For me, it is as if this headphone merely attenuates -- like an extra resistance that is in line; and the attenuation reaches the upper safe volume limit for hearing, ONLY if your device can drive the headphones at the maximum power rating the connector is rated for.

They are comfortable and I like the volume-limiting feature, but one set stopped working within 5 weeks, JUST outside the return time frame
