KitchenAid Blade Coffee and Spice Grinder Combo Pack - Onyx Black

    • Would not trust the lids for sprinkling at all since it would probably fail and dump your contents
    • correctly I had to twist the lid and push until I could finally get it to work.
    • At first I messed up and didn't put the cover on the pepper grinder and peppercorns spilled out and went everywhere (don't need a lid for the taller coffee grinder).I then put the lid on the peppercorn grinder canister and the centrifugal force of the mixer knocked the lid off and again put peppercorns
    • Seems like every 3rd or 4th time the lid will pop off mid-grind and make a mess inside the grinder
    • I also read some reviews that complained about the seal between the grinding bowl and the lid not being perfectly air tight
    • Besides the jars were very small only good for very small batches' and then as well the spices would pop the lids while grinding and make a mess
    • The lids that come with it do not fit at all, the package says they are air tight but either the lids were made wrong or the bowls were.
    • Must make sure you follow the directions and have the plastic lid in place before grinding anything, otherwise it goes everywhere and is not easy to clean out.
    • I could find no way to secure the lid other than duct tape.
    • The lids fall off if the bowl is turned upside down and are not even close to a tight fit.
    • It was poorly packaged and the lid was jammed
    • the plastic lid just fly's right off when your tying to grind spices in
    • The only improvement I would recommend is a lid for the coffee grinding vessel similar to those on the smaller spice grinding cups.
    • the lids to the smaller containers would not stay on while grinding
    • The plastic lids for spices is practically useless as they don’t fit snugly
    • The full size container is tiny, and if you use the half-sized ones the lid doesn't cover the top, so your ground product flies everywhere.
    • don't forget to use the individual lids while grinding.
    • Lid is awful, while grinding everything get accumulated in between cup and lid and don’t be surprised if it is a filthy mess when you open the lid! This
    • My Mr Coffee that was a present from my wife's parents YEARS ago finally croaked, and this one is GREAT - don't use the shaker cap because I only use it to grind flax seed, which it does quite well - clean up is a snap after I realized you have to put the lid on the small cup when grinding
    • The lids do not fit securely on the spice bowl and spices blow up and all over.
    • The short canister is for spices and the manual specifically tells you to put the solid canister lid on and then start to grind to prevent exactly what they are claiming it does.
    • The second is that the solid, soft plastic lid for the spice grinder cup (necessary because it is not tall enough for the clear plastic top to act as a lid during operation) does not fit tightly enough even when fit properly so the finer bits of spice escape from the cup
    • The second is that the solid, soft plastic lid for the spice grinder cup (necessary because it is not tall enough for the clear plastic top to act as a lid during operation) does not fit tightly enough even when fit properly so the finer bits of spice escape from the cup
    • I would recommend this but hope they come up with a better lid that I can buy down the road.
    • I like the stainless steal and the little lids that keep them contained.
    • The top clear lid is difficult to get
    • The plastic lid cracked
    • Also it was a mess to clean up the small lids on the spice
    • Also there is always ground powder escaping onto the main part of the grinder from the container, and of course I always put the lid on the small containers when grinding
    • the coffee cup works fine, there is no lid for it and static from the blades
    • Although I haven’t used them, the little lids could be helpful if one had an excess of chopped herbs to store overnight.
    • They even provide solid and perforated plastic lids so you can use the spice cups for storage or a shaker if you want.
    • We are trying to stick the lids with tape or use foil to jam the lids, but still some of the ingredients come out into the jar
    • The top clear lid is difficult to get
    • The small grinding containers pop out of the thing almost immediately after pushing the lid down to grind
    • We have found that the lids on the small spice grinder cups are defective and don't seal onto the cup.
