If KitchenAid just supplied 2 tall stainless steel grinder cups, one with the coffee blade and one with the spice blade, this would be a great product that grinds coffee and spices well as promised and they could drop the short grinder cups and lids entirely.

This is a completely useless product

I bought it to grind flax seeds and other products like black sesame seeds to add to oatmeal for breakfast

This product easily ground salt and pepper along with other spices.

But on the lids there is no seal or gasket so the product makes a mess

I look for thoughtfully well designed products that do the job before they can take up my counter space, which is precious!
