Pretty excited to have a found a solid pair of passive headphones for my passengers.
-
The only two other headsets I have to compare it to are a 35 year old pair that they're obviously much better than and a new pair of Dave Clarks that I don't really notice that much difference from.
-
I decided to get these because 1) the ones from the school were a hit or miss - you could get a nice pair or a crappy pair, 2
-
I took a chance in getting these because I plan to purchase a nice pair of Bose A20's if/when I pass my test at the end of my course and didnt want to over-spend on a set of headphones I'll most likely be keeping for passengers who fly around with me in the future

Awesome pair of headsets.... works very well and more importantly easy on the wallet.

If you are in the market for awesome, solid and overall great pair of headphones for flying pick these up, you wont be disappointed!
-
Even if you can't find a good pair of used noise canceling flightcoms online I would consider paying full price to buy new as you likely won't be satisfied with these and will have to pay for a different pair after going through the same struggle I did with these.
-
Now I am stuck with a pricey pair of ear muffs!
-
Recommend you also get cloth covers, maybe two pairs so you can have one set while the other is in the laundry.
-
My new pair of DCs are noticably more comfortable.
-
I imagine if someone stuck with it they would eventually want to move up to something even nicer but these would always make a nice pair for friends and family that come along on a flight.

These work just as good as or possibly even better than the green expensive style pilot headphones
