The speakers sound fairly decent for little speakers
It is worth mentioning that the speaker on the Volca Mix do not have the greatest fidelity and sound crappy much like any other small internal speaker.

This is arguably one of the more useful features of the MIX, and it adds a lot to a performance to throw a fuzz pedal or delay in the loop and then bring it in and out of the mix
The sync feature works great (not that it was ever difficult to link/sync multiple Volcas, but hey, this is still a good feature on this mixer

There probably isn't a sub-$200 product that could cure all of the shortcoming of the Volca series, and yet these remain insanely fun and deceptively powerful little devices.
It will not be an end all mixer, nor replace other small mixers I use for recording etc, but for live playing Volcas, it's really a nice little device that will get your volcas sounding good together
