The Porta Pros feel flimsy, and the metal band gets caught in your hair if you try to adjust it.

These headphones have a retro chic look but have a beautiful sound

They came quickly and they were still the cheap looking, ungainly, headset they were years ago

A thicker cable would be more durable and wouldn't twist as much.

I'm just really disappointed in these, primarily with that stupid cable that they chose.

I suddenly had an incredibly intense pain in the jaw area near both of my ears, which felt like it was going straight through my whole head; it was so bad my eyes watered

My son had mentioned that he occasionally gets an intense pain near the ears from wearing them, and I found that strange because of the foam padding

that often (glasses wearers, you know that pain all too well for on ear/over ear style)

Sometimes the metal hook presses into my ear and causes some dull pain, but that's easily fixed or avoided

OK, so these Headphones look 80's retro and people may make fun of you because they think they are cool sporting their Beats headphones (which by the way are highly overrated and just trendy in my opinion).

However, this is more of a personal problem; most people I know do not have this problem, but if I put ANYTHING on my ears, they are red-hot within minutes.

other people can hear you pretty good and you can hear your surroundings pretty well

It doesn't leak enough to bother your roommate, but it will bother people in a very quiet library

Some people use ear buds, but I do not like anything in my ear for more reasons than one.

Two main cons I have read about these headphones is the lack of noise isolation and sound leakage.

These headphones do not isolate the noise of your surroundings.

Downside is they don't cover up outside noise very well at all

Many have said that their hair gets snagged in the headpiece.

the second pair I used for several years, until I broke the plastic hinge on the ear piece.

Then a half hour later, I hear another light snap noise on the right and the hinge on the right cup became loose, and then the next day the plastic tabs that expand the headband started to loosen up as well
