KRUPS Belgian Waffle Maker, Waffle Maker with Removable Plates, 4 Slices, Black and Silver

    • As it was heating up, THE PLASTIC COVER CRACKED
    • Even heat, easy to clean, compact storage
    • Disappointed because he Waffle maker has uneven heat between the top and bottom waffle presses
    • Very slow heating up, makes good waffles if you have the time.
    • I'm not sure if the heating element messed with the electrical or
    • I took the plates out of the machine to give 'em a quick soao-and-water scrub, then after drying, brushed on a bit of oil to help the non-stickey coating a bit, whipped up some Snoqualmie Falls pancake mix while the machine pre-heated... about 1 cup mix with 1 cup water was just about right to cover the lower plate, beep beep beep beep, said the machine- in went the batter, locked the lid down and waited for the second set of beeps
    • The heating seemed a little uneven and the finish alarm was activating too late, but by watching the amount of steam coming from the closed iron, we were able to remove the finished waffles before they turned too brown
    • High pitched noises and uneven heating.
    • The top plate loses heat after a batch or two
    • The heating is even and fast, and I love love love that it beeps at me when it’s ready
    • Its large enough for 4 waffles at one time, has a adjustable heat control (love that option) and its the best on the market in my opinion.
    • Other than that, it is a good machine - if you get one with proper heat control
    • This one is certainly easy to use, and much easier to clean than many (removable plates) but it is slow to cook, and heats slightly unevenly, and is heavy
    • This does not sufficient heat up to create done waffles
    • n’t recommend buying this model
