My only gripe is the plastic the knob is made out of is the most slippery material known to man and can be quite difficult to get a grip on to turn.

The plastic is cheap and if it cracks the whole thing is useless

Overall, it makes good waffles but has a cheap plastic handle that broke within a week of having it.

we have had it less than six months-used maybe a dozen times and the cheap plastic hinge broke off yesterday.
