    • The most coarse setting is not coarse enough for cold brew
    • I only use it for course coffee for cold brew
    • Your cold brew will end up calky and muddy
    • All in all, I think it's a very nice little grind & brew.
    • You'll never get a fine enough grind on a home machine, but for french press or cold brew - this grinder works fine.

    • After every use you have to take everything apart and clean it in order for a proper brew the next time

    • This of course makes for a muddy brew in a French press

    • While this thing demands a higher price and more counter space than a smaller blade-grinder, it rewards you with a slightly better brew and a good deal more control over the fineness of the grind.

    • I would have expected more from a well-known brand like Krups, but as much as I want to like this coffee maker it has enough small flaws that I've essentially gone back to cold brew and K-cups.1
