I get a better tasting cupa coffee from the hand grinder.
-
No adverse taste noted with this easy practice
-
Its easy, coffee tastes way better than what I'd get from 7/11 or
-
It's capable of consistently delivering a very fine grind that lets me brew some really great tasting espresso.
-
love the fresh ground smell and taste- must clean after every use to keep working properly butcleaning is easy with just rinsing of the grinder and filter

He prefers grinding his own beans for a fresher taste

You MUST clean it carefully after every use to keep the coffee oils from staining the parts and/or leaving bad odors and tastes that can form as the coffee oils go rancid

I went all the way up to 8 ("percolator"—past "drip coffee") and it was still slow to drip and muddy tasting

First the important part: It makes GREAT tasting coffee
-
It's larger than my previous grinder but grinds beans perfectly (medium setting for my drip coffee maker) and the coffee tastes so rich and smooth.

-
OVERALL - The machine makes a very smooth tasting, strong cup of coffee that is the perfect amount/size for me
-
It makes great tasting coffee that, while not exactly like my old machine, does rival it at a fraction of the cost
-
Taste is great - very pleased even on the default setting
-
I was surprised at how much I appreciate the smell and taste of freshly brewed coffee.
-
What more could you want?Personally, I still prefer the taste of a good cafe presse (such as a Bodum unit or similar "plunger"-type coffee makers),, but for those who like good drip coffee, this is a great choice.
-
The Krups burr grinder is a great improvement over my old blade grinder and it really did improve the taste of the coffee
-
5 stars for a great quality machine that makes super tasting coffee from whole beans in a compact system
-
1. grind & brew - because I believe brewing right after grinding creates the best taste 2. small form
-
I do think that the coffee tastes slightly different too using a metal burr as opposed to ceramic which seems to deliver a better mouthfeel
-
So I am confident that it will give me years of reliable service and great tasting coffee
-
Pros:- Produces a better tasting cup of coffee than a blade
