off.- Rubberized ClampsRubberized clamps helps prevent the Kyser from scratching or marring the neck and the frets.- ErgonomicThe arched arm with the weird-looking loopy looking thingy and the other straight arm help you to firmly grab on to them without slipping so you can easily and quickly remove or reposition the Kyser Capo.- DurableThe Kyser is made from durable aluminum.[Update 7/25/10] I've had this capo for almost 3 years and it's still working like a champ
I see why now how kyser sells so many of these, easy to use, clamps down tight, and a nice looking capo in this finish
The capo is very well made and very classy looking and very easy to use.
Easy to install and padding adequately protects guitar from damage
I bought this capo because my older one was such a hassle to put on and take off that it was damaging my guitar
It also has protection so that it doesn't harm the guitar while it's being used
It takes a little bit longer than two seconds to move the capo for me (like, 5-10), but the gold goes nice with my dark chesnut-colored and gold guitar
It holds the strings down really well and doesn't mess up or scratch your guitar.
Sturdy capo, looks great and works perfectly, the spring is strong and pushes down on the frets of a guitar very firmly, if you need a capo get a kyser!
Don't be fooled into thinking that the cheap Chinese copies are good - The springs are weak and the capos are poorly constructed
I have used kysers for 10 years and as the years have progressed, I'm starting to realize the springs on these can lose tension fairly quick
the spring is very strong so it will accommodate heavy strings on a guitar. if you are not too serious about playing guitar the spring snap capos are for you but if you want your guitar to stay in tune after you attach the capo get yourself a hinged snap on capo.
Perfect spring tension, beautiful powdercoating, and the lever is out of the way above the neck
Works great as with all my other Kyser Capos I have had over the years
Also the part of the clip that goes under the neck of the guitar has a rubber coating, ensuring that the clip does not shift and making sure that your guitar neck does not scratch as it might have had if the bottom of the clip did not contain rubber
I was excited to find the pink color to go along with my black Epiphone DR-100 (also purchased from Amazon), and gladly paid the extra $ seeing as a portion of that extra $ went to the Susan G. Komen foundation for researching a cure for breast cancer
The only negative thing about this capo is: I have very sweaty hands and when it's hot (as it usually is on my country
Bent as it is, it's impossible to get a clean press across all strings, which renders it useless
