Reviews around bass (5.00 of 5)

  • Deep, pure bass tone unmatched by any other set of LaBella flats
  • However, if you know what you're doing, you can actually make this characteristic work in your favor, because what the higher tension allows you to do is drop your string height both at the nut, as well as at the bridge saddles, giving you much lower action
  • It came very well packaged, and now my bass sounds like a million bucks, and feels great to play
  • They seem too stiff and heavy, at least for my modern P-bass
  • He uses these in the church band as well as for other special gigs about town.

Reviews around stuff (5.00 of 5)

  • String balance: In my opinion, the G string is a little bright in comparison to the EAD strings, so I recommend stuffing a small cube of high density foam under the G string, just forward of where it exits the bridge saddle, to bring it into better balance with the other strings

Reviews around jamerson (3.61 of 5)

  • He uses these in the church band as well as for other special gigs about town.
  • I wanted the classic Jamerson sound
  • I just bought some and put them on my American Vintage Hotrod Fender Precision (P/J), I had always been hesitant thinking that they may stress the neck too much but nope after adjusting the truss rod the neck is still straight as an arrow, in fact i had to back it off a little the next day
