Lauren LA30N 30-Inch Student Guitar
Color:Natural
These 1/2 size acoustic guitars provide the young student an easy-to-hold instrument. Nylon Strings.
It will work fine as a toy for a child who wants to get started playing one finger chords but if you really want a descent 1/2 guitar that is worth playing, better spend a bit more for the brand that starts with Yam and ends in aha.
Otherwise for the price I am very satisfied with this as a toy to be learned on and perhaps beat up a little bit
I particularly liked the bright and elegant finish, as well as the sound (certainly not the one of a toy guitar), which exceeded my expectations, specially after reading some very bad reviews
At first, I was excited to find our son such a great toy, but he didn't even have the opportunity to try it!

(Currently, Amazon misleadingly suggests that you buy this guitar along with picks and a strap - good luck attaching that strap!)
It's a good size for my kids, I put a strap on it from a guitar hero controller, and they love to strap it on and "play" their favorite songs.
and I purchased an inexpensive strap ($5) and installed strap buttons ($7) so she can stand for her "performances

Not bad; the strings are partially nylon and partially wire and the nylon strings do not stay tuned well
Seems like good quality, nice nylon strings that work just like real ones, and the perfect size for my son.
I have other guitars like Taylors, and a nylon string Goya that I love, so I needed a guitar for my kids that could stand up to their "abuse".
They have nylon strings, which most kids prefer, but they are nearly impossible to get in tune

Small children aren't big on staying put for long - he likes to stroll around the house strumming the strings, which is hard without a strap.
If your child is good enough to keep a tune, then you really need something else.

My son who is 4 loves the guitar, would definetly recommend for others looking.
Our son really would like to use the strap we bought him so we are on the fence about returning it.
Son didn't like it because it sounds bad.
Still my grand son has show he will stick with it and he will get a major upgrade.

perhaps this is how guitars are.would recommend again as decent price
I know the price is right, and if you're buying it to shut your kid up for a few
really nice price, stays tuned, completely worth the money
While the build of the guitar seems solid enough, I cannot keep the top two E and B strings in tune.
Low E sting makes just dead beat sound

I purchased this thinking it would be a good starter guitar, not wanting to shell out bunches of money for something that may or may not stick with her.

This is a great starter guitar for my 5 year old Grandson.

It is the perfect size, is made of wood (as opposed to some guitars of the same size in the box stores), and has a good sound.
, however i wanted something with great sound because he is very responsive to music and i wanted it to actually be playable
The gears are solid and the sound is very good for a young student.
I tuned it, but it's just a bad sounding guitar.
The guitar itself is made quite sturdy and it has a great sound for how small it is

Seems like good quality, nice nylon strings that work just like real ones, and the perfect size for my son.
I put good quality strings on it when I bought it, still has the original strings
I bought from the warehouse (like new) and still the quality and condition were really good
I do most of my shopping via Amazon and am very disappointed that they would allow such poor quality products to be sold on their site.
Sound quality is good as well, and it's relatively easy action

I have replaced the strings, and I recommend doing it immedatly.
I experienced all the same issues written before - tuning, string tension issues, etc
I have tuned it and within 10 minutes it sounds horrible, could be the cheap strings though.
It was a pain tuning up every time I wanted to play or practice, but after six months of frequent playing, the strings finally became stable
