I am very happy with the rich audio quality I get when recording with this microphone
Also, my college's terrible video recording software created an internal feedback squeal while recording with this that I couldn't hear while recording--the solution was to go into the computer's system settings and "mute" the speaker output
Provides a great quality audio recording on my cell phone
It is a great microphone, very clear recording and the output was great.
Clear recording, with clarity of voice, limited background noise.
The clip works great, the actual mic is not too intrusive and the extra cable length ensures I can move around at will
The microphone is pretty good, the only issue I'm having is that the extension chord no longer works, it worked for the first 2 weeks and then for some reason just stopped working, it's still in perfect
The lapel microphone works great on my iphone and ipad.
This microphone has worked great for recording podcasts
This mic works very well for casual recording projects!
I especially appreciate the long extension cord that comes with the mic and it allows me to get off the selfie stick and further from the phone which I put on a small tripod
and I drag the cord around, or fix the position of the mic
Only to find out later that the cord has an issue
that's well made and comes with a handy adaptor and an extra LONG cord.
Small and convenient, nice long cord, and decent sound quality.
It worked good on my iPhone as well as with a Tascam DR-22WL (with plug adaptor).
Very precise, blocks out ambient noise such as wind really well
The mic is omnidirectional (vs. cardiod or shotgun), so it is likely to pick up some level of ambient noise in your recording location in additional to your subject's voice, but it's never more than any decent noise reduction function in a video editor can't remove easily.
Recording quality is excellent outdoors, as well as when it is windy
Pleasantly surprised that there is very little ambient noise from being held or from being clipped to shirt.
Terrible buzz (with or without the adapter) when the extension is connected
By using this Mike that attaches to my lapel or neckline of my t-shirt I am able to get better audio quality and it's more convenient b
The only issue is that if anything touches any part of the adapter or the jacks, there is a rather annoying buzz in the audio that I can't fix in editing
so i'm not a novice - and used this mic on a shoot today and there is a loud buzzing in the background
It picks up a bit of background noise (i.e. bathroom fans in the background, a loud TV buzz) but I the quality seems good
You are reading snippets from reviews of Lav Mic for Interview, Podcast or Blog - TRRS Lav Mic for iPhone or Android
WE’ve only used it off and on for a month but it hides wind noise, background traffic, and other ambient sound well
You can still hear some wind noise, but the sound is loud and clear
and I've been impressed with how well it blocks out wind noise while still letting relevant background noise come through (box of product opening, snapping fingers, etc.)
I was on the beach with all sorts of noises:- people, wind noise, traffic, loud music
Takes that tinny & wind noise sound out of my Iphone recordings love it !!
Either this is the single worst mic I have ever used or we got a defective unit.
Maybe the unit I got is defective (or most of these reviews are fake which is rampant on amazon
For 19 bucks, honestly goodluck getting something better as long as you dont get a defective unit
I can't really give this a fair rating yet because I can't seem to tell if it's a defective unit or notI tried it both with and without the adapter on my
