I bought this mic and it has never worked, I lost my money.

It works great with my Cell Phone where phantom power takes over but as soon as you need to count on the power pack this mic is useless.

the audio levels this mic pics up of someone talking is very low, you end up having to boost the levels which pollutes your recording with hissing noise and background audio

Sounds better recording from iphone than camera, i think due to the cameras weak preamp.

One of the best things I bought on Amazon was a lapel mic from maono

In all honestly the only things to me that could be improved is the lack of a battery indicator light
