the audio levels this mic pics up of someone talking is very low, you end up having to boost the levels which pollutes your recording with hissing noise and background audio

Worked well recording directly into a dslr

The sound it records is not clear and often distorted

Sounds better recording from iphone than camera, i think due to the cameras weak preamp.

Very clear recording and easy

I suppose this would be useful for other purposes, but not for recording clear, focused audio.
